LOW Architecten is pleased to announce that the Innovation Hub Nobel I, located within Ghent University Hospital’s new research park, is approaching its final stages of development. Standing at 62 meters, Nobel I is poised to become a prominent feature of Ghent’s skyline, symbolizing innovation and sustainability.
The building’s design incorporates an energy-efficient façade and a rooftop garden offering a 360° view of Ghent and its surroundings. While the rooftop garden is among the final elements to be completed, portions of the building are already operational, serving the research community.
Nobel I represents a significant advancement in sustainable architecture, reflecting LOW Architecten’s commitment to integrating ecological considerations into modern design. As the project nears completion, it stands as a testament to the collaborative efforts of all partners involved, marking a new era for Ghent’s research and innovation landscape.
