Renovation Meise botanic garden

The history of Meise Botanic Garden goes back more than 200 years. Comprising 92 hectares it is one of the largest botanical gardens in the world, exhibiting a wide variety of plants.

Within the botanic garden of Meise, one can find the “plant Palace” greenhouse, one of the largest publicly accessible greenhouse complexes in Europe.

Our Team renovated and reconfigured the greenhouse and its surroundings, thus creating a new welcoming entrance oriented towards the park.

The entrance area is complemented by a pond that reflects the plant Palace and its greenery, hence referencing classical symmetric garden compositions.

Further the project features a new entrance canopy that creates a lively outdoor meeting space for visitors and frames the views towards the pristine botanical gardens of Meise.
