Housing project Anethan

By placing a striking building on a prominent corner location, a positive impulse for Schaerbeek is created.

In order to form a united volume, the three passive standard duplex apartments are arranged in the most compact way.

The window rhythm, playful brick pattern, and raised ground floor refer to the locally common typology of the Art Nouveau townhouses.

By translating this vocabulary into contemporary architecture, a dialogue between old and new is created. The result is a building that integrates carefully by speaking the language of the neighborhood.
