The Thomas More Campus Kruidtuin in Mechelen is a school specialized on educating primary and secondary school teachers.

We planned a thorough renovation of the school complex that would upgrade its poor state to modern architectural standards.

Aside of the new wooden façade system and windows, columns were added selectively in order to develop a flexible structural scheme that could react to future program needs.

Furthermore, our design team reconfigured the new program around the central square with the intention to promote accessibility and casual exchanges between students.
